We are already on the Day 6 of the year 2010! How time flies!

This post is written for the sake of updating since I have been writing less and less nowadays, so hope these pictures tell a thousand words.

So last month, we were on another road trip again to Penang and SP. It has been slightly more than a year since I went there with my colleagues.

This time we stayed in Penang for the entire trip as I found out that SP ain’t that far from Penang, so making a return trip won’t take much time. Oh, the very same reason why we ended up in SP again (well, for me, specifically since I was there two years ago) – to attend Mr. Johnny’s wedding.

Mr. Johnny was my housemate for 5 years and within 3 years after graduating, he progressed well enough that he got gf, flew half the globe to places like China, Canada, etc and finally settled down with his gf. Demn, I can only envy…

Anyways, back to the story, we toured around Penang, ate good food and enjoyed whatever we could.

I have to mention the nice seafood at Teluk Kumbar – it’s cheap but then it’s super far from where we stayed. And to top it all, we took the back route to Batu Ferringhi after the dinner. The road is super winding. FOL!! And luckily nobody threw up when we reached Hard Rock Hotel.

Over the next day, after having our not-so-early breakfast, we toured around the Penang heritage area namely the ever famous Khoo Kongsi.

And so we walked around that area since the weather was nice…

The wedding dinner was held that night so some of us had to get back to prepare for the dinner. Long story short, it was a great and lovely night for Mr. Johnny and his newly-wed wife. Congrats again!

And that summarizes our 1000km journey and I doubt we can pull off another one like this near future because I already have phobia driving long distance.
