Day 2.

We woke up rather late by travel standards, and since breakfast is provided at the hotel itself, we duly prepared for the day’s activities before heading out.

Breakfast at hotel was nice and after that, we took the pickup truck provided by the hotel and made our way back to LBK to begin our activities. Again, with the same group of people we met the previous night and we waited patiently for the boat to come and pick us up.

After receiving go ahead sign from the day’s guide, we took off by boat for a hike at Terisek Hill. I wasn’t physically prepared for the hike either so I was a bit worried in the first place.

The hike wasn’t tough – in some parts of the trail, the authorities have built proper platform for easier walking/climbing. Halfway the hill is the canopy walkway but due to the crowd that day, we had to secure our places first so that we don’t have to wait longer after our hiking activity.

We reached the first stop at the top of the hill. The view is awesome overlooking several mountains but we were told that Mount Tahan is not one of these mountains.

So, we walked a further 10 minutes before reaching another hotspot. This time we were rewarded with the view of Mount Tahan – the highest mountain in Peninsular Malaysia. But there are so many mountains out there I really couldn’t tell which is Mount Tahan. LOL.

Yes, that is Mount Tahan.. whatever…

We spent quite some time at the top taking photos – more specifically helping them to take photos. 😛

We then made our way down to the canopy walkway where we waited for another hour or more for our turns. (To be continued)
