Porkylicious BKT @ Nan Sian

As the year draws to the finishing line, it’s about time to turn on celebration mode. As such, working hours are pretty much shortened, replaced by longer lunch hours.

So we took the road one rainy afternoon, heading to an unknown territory in search for good food. Nah kidding… the guy knows the place well and here we are, the very unassuming BKT place named Nan Sian.

I’ve not tasted a good BKT for a very long time and this just came at the right time. Man, looking at the thick broth/soup, this better be good.

We also had the dried version. It was quite normal to me but generally, it tasted less “kung pou” than most of the dried versions I’ve tasted, which is a good thing as the dried chili did not overwhelm the original taste.

If you are nearby, it’s time to ditch the famous ones and try this instead.
